Granny pancake, it is an institution in Savoy, and more precisely, in Les Arcs.
Since 1994, 3 generations of women have followed one another, feasting skiers, walkers, tourists and Savoyards with delicious wholemeal and nutritious pancakes as we only know how to make them in the mountains.

Today it is Anne-Marie who is at the head of Mamie crêpe. Duet with her husband for 15 years, they finally decided to expand their team 11 years ago by hiring Yoann in the service. And they do not spare their efforts! The days are intense: from 8 am to midnight, every day in winter and in summer… In the morning, it's preparation of fresh vegetables, cooking sausages, cutting hams. Then at noon everyone is on a war footing for the service, which lasts until 22pm! No cut for the brave.

“Always in a good mood,” Anne-Marie told me.

The flagship pancakes: the “granny” in salty: minced steak, Savoie cheese and granny sauce and the “pom pom boule” in sweetness allow skiers and hikers to resist the cold. Perhaps that's why Anne-Marie and her little team eat it every day in season. “Full and nourishing,” she told me. I take her word for it, and am almost ready to move to Savoie, just to have my pancake, too ...

And in her marathon days, Anne-Marie has had a little ally for a few months ... A Hubert Cloix turbine ! On which she is full of praise ... Great help for preparations, saving precious time, easy to use and clean ... And the little extra that we are always very proud to bring you: a great after-sales service.

No wonder customers rush and chant in heart the slogan of Mamie crêpe: A MANGER CHAUD! Because yes, here the pancakes cool quickly, so we eat quickly without waiting for the whole table to be served. Then we tighten up, we laugh loudly, and we drink well! The Savoyard spirit! We leave there sated and happy to have shared a moment of conviviality at Mamie crêpe.
