For several months, we have been trying to make small ice turbines for the CHRs wanting to produce their own ice cream.

Several issues quickly emerged:

• Cost of R&D for the development of an ice cream machine on table,
• Manufacturing volume needed to be competitive,
• Obligation to create a new production line.

Faced with these problems, I quickly studied the European manufacturers that can offer this type of machines.

… And very quickly, the transalpine brand Nemox became obvious!

I had already had the opportunity to see the small turbines of the brand Nemox and I found them very well thought (if we had made them ourselves, we would be inspired!).

After a first contact via their website, we exchanged by email until crossing the Mont-Blanc tunnel to meet Marina Guerra, sales and marketing director at Nemox, with whom we spent a sunny day in early October.

The day was busy!

Discussions on the ice markets in Italy, France and Europe more generally. We were able to discuss our respective know-how and our common points.

After visiting the different production lines of the Nemox factory, I was convinced by the expertise and the quality of their machines.

At Hubert Cloix, we are fervent defenders of “Made in France”, of French manufacture, but we must know how to find collaborations with our border countries when the know-how justifies it!

We will be proud to expand our range of professional ice cream turbines by offering smaller machines that will suit more to customers for whom ice cream will not be (yet) manufactured in larger volumes.
